FAQ
Before you send your request.
What is a trade consultation?
It is a first review of the general context of your operation. It lets us identify which service fits, what information we will need, and whether Lexnova is the right team for your situation.
What should I share in the request?
A general description is enough: what you import or export, from where and to where, which entities are involved, and which date concerns you. Please do not send files, agency notices, passwords, or confidential information at this stage.
Does submitting a request create a professional relationship?
No. Sending a form or receiving a reply does not create a professional relationship, and it does not make information confidential on its own. Work begins when both sides accept a written proposal and scope.
Does Lexnova provide legal advice?
No. Lexnova is a foreign-trade consultancy. When a matter calls for legal advice or representation, the external counsel you retain handles it, and we coordinate the facts and records they need.
Do you handle customs clearance or transportation?
No. Lexnova designs, advises, and coordinates. Customs entries are filed by the licensed customs broker you appoint, and logistics execution can be coordinated with Baranta or other providers within their own scope.
Can you guarantee the outcome of an audit or application?
No one can guarantee what an agency will decide. We do commit to documented analysis, organized evidence, and steady follow-through.
Do you work with companies in Mexico?
Yes. For teams in Mexico, Lexnova's consulting is presented in Spanish at lexnova.com.mx.
